President, Angela Ivory
Angela Ivory is a native of Louisiana. She serves as the President of the Warner Robins Learning Center of Georgia Inc. She serves in the field of Arts & Entertainment as an Author and Media Personality, and is the Director & Host of Destiny Helpers, where she spotlights other Destiny Helpers that are helping others reach their destiny in their community and beyond. Additionally, Mrs. Ivory is in business as a self taught chef; and an entrepreneur, owning A Taste of Creole LLC.
She is the CEO of Team Kingdom Builders of Team National, an economic plan that helps others save while they earn money. Last but certainly not least, Mrs. Ivory has been called to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has the assignment to lead A.I.M. Angela Ivory Ministries, Inc. She loves working hand in hand with her husband to help make communities a better place. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, watching movies and relaxing by a body of water.
Secretary, William Acosta
Mr. Acosta is married to Amanda and together, they have a baby girl and two boys. Mr. Acosta graduated from Liberty University with a master's degree in Sports Management. He is in his fourth year of teaching and currently teaches at Thomson Middle School as a Health and Physical Education Teacher. In addition to teaching, Mr. Acosta coaches football, basketball, and baseball at Thomson Middle. His mother taught for 37 years and seeing her love and passion for her students and the impact that she had on their lives gave Mr. Acosta the same desire to become a teacher. His goal as an educator is that each student will not only grow in knowledge about Health and Physical Education, but that he will also be a positive impact on every student that crosses his path by helping contribute to their growth as a student and an overall person.
Treasurer (CFO), Calvin Dixon
Calvin and his wife co-founded, and pastors Faith Movers Ministries located in Warner Robins, GA. Calvin is known for his strong Faith, Love for people and his Humbleness. They are enthusiastic about teaching everyone about the goodness of GOD and they are doers of the Word. He leads the Men Ministry, Finance Team and perform all the administrative duties.
Calvin was Licensed by Doctor Pastor Glover of Evergreen Church of Macon in December 2017 and Ordained on July 11, 2021. He also holds a master’s degree in Information Technology Management, graduated with honors.
Calvin served 30 years in the United States Air Force and obtained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Two Presidential Unit Citations, and the National Defense Service Medal with a Bronze Star. Numerous other awards. He served as Clinic Manager for the Urological Health Center for 8 years. Extensive leadership and management background with over 38 years of experience.
Calvin is married to Soledad Dixon. Together they have three children and six grandchildren.
Program Members
Math Instructor, Mark Ivory
Mark is a military veteran as he served in the United States Army. He is also a 1996 graduate of Xavier university of Louisiana .He graduated with a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Mathematics. He has been an educator for the past 25 years. During this time, he has taught high school mathematics including Pre-Algebra Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Trigonometry. He has taught in Fort Valley States Summer CDEP program. He has also served as Athletic Director of Thomson Middle School for the past 17 years and he is currently teaching virtual math for 6,7 and 8th grade. He is married and have two sons. He is totally dedicated to helping educate our youth so that they may become productive citizens of our society.
STEM Instructor, Jessica Y. Green
Ms. JGreen is an educator of 14 years, teaching Engineering & Technology Education at Thomson Middle School in Centerville, GA. She graduated from Savannah State University (HBCU) with a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems in 2005; and obtained her master's degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University (2007) and educational specialist degree in Educational Technology from Walden University (2012).
Ms. JGreen is the mother of a beautiful baby girl and two canine kids. She is also a proud member of the Warner Robins Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Freedom Church. She loves to read, write (blogs and poetry), and listen to music and attend concerts.
